Ontrack Systems Aus Pty Ltd seeks a Network Security Project/Design Engineer on a contract basis. Based in North Ryde, NSW, you will design, implement, and manage complex security infrastructure projects to protect critical assets.

You will translate strategic security objectives into practical technical designs and deliver scalable, secure solutions across networks, VPNs, firewalls, and related technologies.

Formación

• 5–10 years in network security engineering.
• Fortinet and Check Point certifications highly preferred.
• Experience producing LLDs and technical design documentation.
• Experience with FortiManager and Check Point Smart-1.
• VPN deployment and troubleshooting experience.
• Solid understanding of dynamic routing protocols.
• Proxy and VPN gateway design and implementation.
• Confluence documentation skills.
• Strong change management capability.
• Experience on large-scale infrastructure or transformation projects.
• Basic Linux system experience.

Responsabilidades

• High‑Level and Low‑Level Solution Designs (HLD & LLD).
• Creation of detailed Low‑Level Design documents.
• Preparation of comprehensive implementation plans.
• Firewall communication matrices.
• Firewall, proxy, and VPN gateway configurations.
• Firewall policy optimisation and compliance.
• Updating technical documentation and network diagrams.
• Firewall RITM implementation records.
• Firewall migration activities.
• Consolidation and standardisation initiatives.
