Job summary
Telstra in Melbourne seeks a Network Planning Specialist to shape the transport network by developing infrastructure plans, assessing capacity, and informing investment decisions. You will lead planning and design activities for SDH/PDH migrations, analyse demand and risk, and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver transformational and BAU
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and design activities supporting SDH/PDH decommissioning and network migration initiatives.
- Analyse network demand, capacity, performance, and risk to drive planning decisions and investment recommendations.
- Develop infrastructure plans, technology roadmaps, and deployment strategies.
- Support the migration of legacy transport network services to modern platforms and technologies.
- Collaborate with planners, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver transformational and business-as-usual network outcomes.
- Ensure planning solutions meet technical, regulatory, quality, and commercial requirements.
