Job summary

Zone It Solutions in Queensland, Australia seeks an experienced network engineer to design, deploy, and support enterprise LAN/WAN environments. You will implement dynamic routing, configure VLANs, STP/RSTP, HSRP/VRRP, and QoS to deliver resilient connectivity.

Responsibilities include managing Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs (GlobalProtect), SD-WAN with Cisco Meraki, ACI fabric integration, and ongoing monitoring using tools like SolarWinds or PRTG.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and deploying enterprise LAN/WAN networks.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and VPNs.
• Experience with SD-WAN and cloud integration.
• Ability to monitor and optimize WAN performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WAN networks.
• Implement dynamic routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
• Configure and manage VLANs, STP/RSTP, HSRP/VRRP, QoS policies.
• Optimize network performance, resiliency, and redundancy.
• Conduct capacity planning and network upgrades.
• Design and manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
• Configure security policies, NAT rules, zones, App-ID, User-ID, Content-ID, IPS/IDS.
