Senior Network Engineer opportunity in Melbourne for a government client. 3-month contract with strong potential for extension or permanent opportunity. $800/day (inc super). Mostly work from home with occasional on-site travel. Must have PR or Australian Citizenship.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years in a network engineering role
• Strong experience in LAN, WAN, Switching, Routing & Firewalls
• Proficiency with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, NetScaler, SD-WAN, Wireless AP (Aruba)
• Knowledge of network security, access control models, and cloud platforms (Azure & AWS)
• Experience with on-prem data centres and incident response
• Minimum CCNP certification
• Excellent communication and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
