Job summary

e2 Cyber in Canberra is seeking a Fortinet‑driven Network Engineer to join a defence program where reliability, resilience and security are non‑negotiable. You will design, implement and optimise secure network solutions across Fortinet technologies and support uplift of security posture.

The role requires NV1 Security Clearance and hands‑on Fortinet experience (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer). You will work with cyber, infrastructure and architecture teams to deliver secure‑by‑design

Qualifications

• NV1 Security Clearance mandatory.
• 3–6+ years hands-on Fortinet experience.
• Solid grounding in secure networking principles, defence environments and compliance frameworks.
• Experience across routing/switching (Cisco/Juniper welcome but Fortinet is the hero).
• Ability to operate in structured, high security environments with precision and accountability.
