Qualifications

  • 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience.
  • 1+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment.
  • Solid understanding of network troubleshooting and performance (TCP, latency, jitter, throughput testing).

Responsibilities

  • Drive deep dives for large-scale events and deliver high-quality documentation.
  • Design and implement new alerts to improve detection mechanisms.
  • Deliver simple, sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes.
  • Troubleshoot recurring platform issues and coordinate with senior engineers for resolution.
  • Ensure operational readiness for new deployments with Engineering & Deployment teams.
  • Drive standards across the platform and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Create and review documentation and procedures for recurring issues and new SOPs.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues, including device configuration and low-level app interaction.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce repetitive tasks through scripts and tools.
  • Provide on-shift network operations support to diagnose large-scale events.
  • Contribute to hiring and developing others in the team.

Key job responsibilities
  • - Drive deep dives for large-scale events, deliver high-quality documentation and drive corrective actions to completion
  • - Improve our detection mechanisms by designing and implementing new alerts
  • - Deliver simple, sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes
  • - Identify and troubleshoot recurring platform issues and effectively engage with senior-level engineering teams for full resolution
  • - Work closely with our Engineering & Deployment teams to ensure operational readiness for new deployments
  • - Drive standards across the and ensure that we are fully compliant to those standards and policies
  • - Create and review documentation and process regarding recurring issues, new standard operating procedures, knowledge transfer material, etc.
  • - Troubleshoot , and interconnectivity issues, including device configuration and low-level application interaction
  • - Identify and drive opportunities to repetitive tasks through creation and maintenance of scripts and tools.
  • - Provide critical on-shift network operations support to diagnose and mitigate large-scale events
  • - Effectively contribute towards hiring and developing others in the team.
