Whizdom is seeking a Network Architect to define and evolve the organisation's enterprise network across on-premises, cloud-connected and hybrid environments. You will provide strategic leadership, develop standards, and govern implementations to ensure secure, scalable, and resilient network services.
You will translate business, security and technology requirements into network capabilities and roadmaps, leading or contributing to complex initiatives with specialist input as needed.
The Network Architect is responsible for defining, governing and evolving the Departments enterprise network architecture across on-premises, cloud-connected and hybrid environments. The role provides strategic and technical leadership to ensure network services are secure, scalable, resilient, supportable and aligned with organisational objectives.
Working within the Network Operations team, the Network Architect translates business, security and technology requirements into network capabilities, designs and implementation roadmaps. The role develops architecture patterns, standards and designs, provides technical governance and assurance across projects and operational initiatives, and leads or contributes to the implementation of complex network capabilities where specialist expertise is required.
This role is Canberra based. 12 month contract with 2 x 12-- month contract extension options pending budget and delegate approval.
