Overview

Job Title: Digital .NET Tech Lead

Location: Sydney CBD (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Contract: 12 months, with possible extensions

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Digital .NET Tech Lead to join a dynamic Technology and Digital Services team. In this role, you will take ownership of solution design, development, and support of enterprise applications, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. You will lead a team of developers, drive technical innovation, and contribute to building digital capability across the organisation. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering both on-premises and cloud-based solutions, including ASP.NET applications, collaborating with Project Managers, Test Managers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) throughout the full implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution design and technical delivery for multiple enterprise projects.
• Guide a development team, providing mentorship and code review support.
• Design, develop, and maintain NET applications and on-premises systems.
• Ensure technical solutions align with business goals, enterprise standards, and best practices.
• Manage and optimise CI/CD pipelines using DevOps practices.
• Oversee development, testing, and deployment of enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with PMs, Test Managers, and SMEs to implement scalable and robust solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and build team capability in modern technologies.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead with hands-on solution design and enterprise application delivery.
• Strong expertise in .NET (C#), SQL Server, and Azure; experience with on-premises environments.
• Experience leading a team, mentoring developers, and managing technical delivery.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Dynamics 365 is desirable.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
