Elysium Digital in Canberra is seeking an experienced .NET Developer with strong Microsoft Azure experience to design, build and maintain robust, scalable cloud applications using modern Microsoft technologies.

You will work with cross-functional teams, develop RESTful APIs and microservices, and implement CI/CD pipelines while focusing on security, performance and reliability. This is a permanent role.

Qualifications

• Minimum proven experience in .NET development with C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating applications.
• Strong SQL Server and database development skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of cloud architecture and security best practices.
• Experience working in Agile teams.

About the Role

As a .NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining robust applications and cloud-based solutions. You will work collaboratively with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain applications using C#, .NET and .NET Core.
• Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL and Azure DevOps.

• Understanding of cloud architecture, security and best practices.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience using AI-powered development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or similar technologies, to support software development, code optimisation and productivity.
• Exposure to Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI or integrating AI capabilities into applications would be highly regarded.
