Job summary

SRG Global is seeking an experienced NDT Technician to join our Asset Care team in Queensland on a permanent, full-time basis. This role supports Oil and Gas projects and involves delivering high-quality inspection services.

You will work with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure compliant, accurate reporting and technical excellence. You will perform NDT inspections on fixed plant assets, review results with engineers, and prepare precise inspection documentation to inform maintenance

Qualifications

• Holds AINDT RT 2 or equivalent.
• Holds AINDT UT 1 or equivalent.
• Proven experience in NDT in oil and gas, mining, or heavy industries.
• Strong understanding of inspection standards and asset integrity.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Safety-focused with commitment to quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections on fixed plant assets including pressure equipment, tanks, pipelines, structural steel, and process infrastructure.
• Review inspection findings, assess asset condition, and support integrity and maintenance decision-making.
• Prepare accurate technical reports and inspection documentation.
• Assist with planning inspection programs and coordinating NDT activities.
• Work collaboratively with clients, engineers, and site-based teams to deliver quality outcomes.
