TheirCare Plus in Melbourne is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist children and young people with complex disability needs inside a specialist school setting. The role focuses on individualised support, safety, and collaborative teamwork to help participants achieve their NDIS goals.

Ideal candidates have experience in disability services or related human services, with a Certificate III or higher and a strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.

Formación

• Experience in disability services, education, or a related human services field.
• Confidence supporting children and young people with high and complex support needs.
• Strong understanding of person-centred active support and inclusive practice.
• High attention to detail and commitment to safeguarding and quality.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individualised and group-based support for children and young people with complex disability needs.
• Implement engaging, developmentally appropriate programs aligned with participants' NDIS goals.
• Maintain a high level of supervision and ensure safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Work in a collaborative team environment within staff-to-participant ratio.
• Support the daily routines, transitions and positive behaviour strategies.
• Complete documentation and reporting in line with NDS and internal quality requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training and reflective practice.
