Job summary

Orange City Council is looking for a dedicated Support Worker to assist individuals with disability in a residential setting in NSW. You will implement individual support plans, provide personal care, manage medications, and document actions in CTARS and via email.

This role requires empathy, strong communication, and teamwork to help clients achieve personal goals. The team offers a supportive environment with training, orientation, and opportunities for career advancement within Disability

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supporting people with disability.
• Ability to follow individual support plans and reporting requirements.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check (if OSHC) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Mentor clients and support personal interests.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Administer medications per individual plans and document outcomes.
• Complete clear written reports in CTARS and email updates.
• Support client mealtime management and daily routines.
• Liaise with external stakeholders to support client goals.
• Facilitate community participation and engagement with local services.
