Job summary

Raytheon Australia invites applications for a Reliability Engineer to join the MV CLCM program supporting the Royal Australian Navy. The role focuses on RAM analyses, FMECA/FTA, and maintaining RAM models to drive asset reliability and lifecycle cost improvements.

Based in Australia with Defence collaboration across locations, you will mentor others, contribute to reliability plans, and work under an Engineering Manager to deliver state-of-the-art defence capabilities.

Qualifications

• RAM analysis and reliability techniques applied to systems
• FMECA, FTA, LORA and MTA methodologies understood
• Proven ability to provide RAM guidance across programmes

Responsibilities

• Perform RAM analysis for Navy Surface Fleet subsystems and analyse failure modes
• Conduct RAM modelling and maintain RAM plans and diagrams
• Lead investigations to improve reliability, availability and lifecycle costs
• Provide RAM guidance to engineering teams and subcontractors
• Maintain FBD/RBD models and support data reporting and action tracking
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Defence and industry to meet objectives
