Job summary

RTX in Australia is seeking a bright Configuration and Data Management Officer to support the establishment and ongoing control of configuration baselines for naval asset classes. The role collaborates across defence and industry, delivering engineering services to the Navy’s surface fleet.

You will manage tools, BOMs, and CCB outputs, with audits and data integrity at the core, while engaging enterprise partners for capability management and maintenance delivery.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification with Cert IV or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline.
• 4+ years in system (hardware or software) design, manufacture, maintenance or testing; or Configuration Management/Data Management.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
• ASDEFCON environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop project configuration and data management plans and processes in line with ASDEFCON requirements.
• Manage project related tools, information systems, and bills of materials.
• Facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings and manage/track outputs and changes (ECP).
• Support Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA) and reviews.
• Capture Configuration Status Account Information (CSA).
• Ensure data set integrity via regular audits.
• Support Enterprise Operations planning and control through Enterprise partners across capability management, asset management and maintenance delivery.
