Qualifications

• Experience in combat system engineering in Australian maritime or navy environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Knowledge of requirements decomposition, traceability, verification methodologies and requirements management tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyse, manage, and maintain system requirements throughout the systems engineering lifecycle.
• Translate Navy operational needs into system, subsystem, and support system requirements.
• Perform requirements decomposition, traceability analysis, verification mapping, and compliance assessments.
• Assist in developing system concepts, use cases, operational scenarios, and technical baselines.
• Develop and review verification plans, procedures, test specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Engage with Royal Australian Navy stakeholders to capture operational requirements and user expectations.
