Job summary

Cement Australia is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Naval Base site team. You will maintain and run electrical systems, attend to site breakdowns, and work with Production and Engineering teams to keep operations safe and efficient.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, fault finding, toolbox talks, and contributing to a strong safety culture. Compliance with OHS standards is essential. Training and licensing are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining electrical systems in heavy industrial environments.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Current CPR / LVR and high risk licence.
• Experience with PLCs and variable speed drives (VSDs).
• Experience with SAP or similar maintenance systems.
• Refrigeration or HVAC experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and run electrical systems across the site.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns with fault finding and problem-solving.
• Participate in toolbox talks and pre-start risk assessments.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team.
• Uphold OHS standards and site safety procedures at all times.
