Job summary

Zurich in Australia and New Zealand is seeking a National Underwriting Manager Marine to lead profitability and underwriting excellence across the Marine portfolio. You will partner with underwriting leaders to drive growth, coach teams, and build strong broker and customer relationships in a dynamic, global insurer environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive technical underwriting experience within Marine insurance.
• Proven leadership experience developing and managing high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated success delivering profitable growth and leading change in a complex insurance environment.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to influence business outcomes.
• Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers, customers and industry partners.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or professional insurance accreditation such as ANZIIF CIP.

As National Underwriting Manager Marine, Australia & New Zealand, you will play a key leadership role in shaping the future of Zurich’s Marine portfolio across Commercial, Digital and Partnerships.
