Job summary

Country Care Group is seeking a commercially minded Purchasing Manager to lead purchasing across our national business from Epping. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms and drive cost efficiency while ensuring product availability for customers across Australia.

Reporting to the Inventory and Replenishment Manager, you will oversee end-to-end purchasing with local and international suppliers, build a high-performing team and foster continuous improvement in procurement

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in purchasing/procurement.
• At least two years in a people leadership role.
• Proven ability to negotiate supplier pricing and terms.
• Experience with local and international purchasing, import processes.
• Strong cost analysis, supplier performance review, and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end purchasing from PO to receipt.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, rebates, and lead times.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance reviews.
• Coordinate international purchasing, freight and customs.
• Monitor spend and drive cost improvements.
• Lead Purchasing Officer and drive process improvements.
