Job summary

Agricultural Equipment Holdings Group in Australia is seeking a National IT Officer to support our 12 dealerships across NSW, Victoria and Tasmania. The role is hands-on, national in scope, covering IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems, user support and technology projects.

You will work closely with our National Service & Business Systems Manager, owning the IT environment and making a real impact across the business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' IT management experience.
• Experience in multi-site environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, networks.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical staff.
• Driver's licence and willingness to travel across NSW, VIC and TAS.

• Manage IT hardware, networks, connectivity and infrastructure across 12 branches.
• Provide first and second-level IT support to staff and manage helpdesk requests.
• Maintain cybersecurity, endpoint protection, user access and data backups.
• Manage Microsoft 365, software licensing and access.
• Support DMS/ERP infrastructure and national technology projects.
• Manage IT assets, hardware lifecycle and procurement.
• Work with external IT providers, vendors and telecoms.
• Identify opportunities to improve technology, efficiency and security.
• Travel to branches to provide onsite support.

AEH Group is looking for a National IT Officer to support our 12 agricultural machinery dealerships across NSW, Victoria and Tasmania.

This is a hands-on national role covering IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems, user support and technology projects. Working closely with our National Service & Business Systems Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of our IT environment and make a real impact across the business.

This role can be based at any of our AEH Group locations across NSW, Victoria or Tasmania, with travel to other branches as required.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for:

• Managing IT hardware, networks, connectivity and infrastructure across 12 branches.
• Providing first and second-level IT support to staff and managing IT helpdesk requests.
• Maintaining cybersecurity, endpoint protection, user access and data backup systems.
• Managing Microsoft 365, software licensing and business system access.
• Supporting DMS/ERP infrastructure and national technology projects.
• Managing IT assets, hardware lifecycle and technology procurement.
• Working with external IT providers, vendors and telecommunications providers.
• Identifying opportunities to improve technology, efficiency and security across the group.
• Supporting cybersecurity awareness and maintaining IT policies and standards.
• Travelling to branches when required to provide onsite support.

About You

You will bring:

• A qualification in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years' experience in IT management, systems administration, network infrastructure or a similar role.
• Experience working across a multi-site business would be highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, networks, VPNs, firewalls, endpoint security and data backup.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical people.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• A current driver's licence and willingness to travel across NSW, VIC and TAS.
• Flexibility to respond to critical IT issues outside standard hours when required.
