Position Details

We are now looking to appoint a National IT Manager to act as the lead IT Business Partner for Australia, representing IT at the highest level across the organisation.

This role is both an operational and strategic individual contributor position, reporting to the Director of IT (Asia Pacific) and forms part of the Australian Leadership Team.

About the Role

You’ll be the go-to person for IT in Australia, collaborating across business functions and aligning APAC IT strategy with local operations.

You’ll partner with Operations, Business Development and Sales to design innovative tech solutions that enhance performance, customer outcomes and operational excellence.

This role isn’t about managing a large team—it’s about influencing, partnering, and leading from the front.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Represent the APAC IT function with stakeholders in Australia.

• Champion uptime, system reliability, incident management, and service standards.

• Lead the local implementation of global initiatives such as WMS conversions and data analytics.

• Collaborate with global infrastructure, onboarding, and corporate applications teams.

• Engage with strategic customers and participate in regular MBRs and QBRs.

• Ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements.

• Be a key voice in prioritising IT projects that enable business growth.

What You’ll Bring

• Extensive IT experience, ideally in logistics, supply chain or transportation.

• Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related field.

• Proven success in stakeholder engagement and project delivery across varied IT domains.

• Deep understanding of logistics/warehouse processes.

• Strong problem-solving, customer service and communication skills.

• Self-starter mindset with the ability to operate in ambiguity and drive outcomes independently.
