Job summary

NSW Health is seeking a National Indigenous Engagement Manager to lead engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders across NCIRS and the national Indigenous immunisation sector. You will provide strategic and policy advice to the Indigenous Leadership Committee and influence relationships with internal teams and external peak bodies.

Qualifications

• High-level written and verbal communication skills, including briefing and committee papers and respectful communication with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
• Ability to build and influence complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
• Experience providing secretariat/governance support to committees or advisory groups.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
• Knowledge of Indigenous health and immunisation issues relevant to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders across NCIRS and the national Indigenous immunisation sector.
• Provide secretariat, strategic and policy advice to the Indigenous Leadership Committee.
• Build and influence high-level relationships with internal teams, peak bodies and government.
