Job summary

Veolia Australia is seeking a National Finance Manager to lead financial strategy for the Environmental Services BU. You will partner with the GM Finance to drive profitability, manage costs, and align financial planning across multiple state teams.

A senior finance leader role with P&L ownership and strategic influence. The role requires 5–10 years in finance, 3+ years in leadership, and a background in audit.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years in finance, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Proven P&L turnaround success.
• Three to five years audit experience (preferred).
• CA/CPA/CFA (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Execute profitability strategies.
• Manage P&L accountability and financial performance.
• Create financial models, forecasts and scenario analyses.
• Support monthly business reviews and establish KPIs.
• Analyse costs, pricing and margins.
• Review tender models and pricing structures.

The Opportunity

This is the perfect next career step for a senior finance manager looking for a new national role with a market-leading, household name organisation. In this role you will partner with the General Manager Finance for our Environmental Services business unit to own and drive all aspects of finance for this key part of our business. You will draw on your outstanding business acumen and strategic thinking skills to drive profitability and manage costs as part of a cohesive financial strategy for the BU. You will collaborate with finance and operations teams to achieve sustainable growth and profitability, working through your state managers and their teams to achieve all goals and targets.
