Qualifications
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience driving entertainment, lifestyle or culture journalism in a fast-paced media environment.
- Experience launching or scaling a national digital property or content vertical.
- Understanding of exclusive content, celebrity access and audience engagement metrics.
- Knowledge of digital subscription economics, funnel optimization and data-driven performance.
Responsibilities
- Define editorial vision and oversee national entertainment output across print, digital, video, newsletters and social.
- Oversee daily output, including breaking news and video, and sign off on Sunday premium print.
- Lead a national team of reporters and collaborate with state mastheads to prioritise national amplification.
- Drive subscription growth and collaborate on a unified entertainment navigation structure.
- Leverage product, marketing and SEO to maximise cross-platform amplification and audience growth.
