Job summary

WSP in Australia is seeking a Geotechnical & Contaminated Land Management Data Lead to drive the national data strategy, develop enterprise-scale geotechnical and environmental databases and push digital geoscience across the country.

You will lead multidisciplinary data teams, provide technical oversight on major projects and advise clients on data governance, best-practice management and innovative analytics.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related discipline.
• Significant experience in geotechnical or environmental data management.
• Experience designing and managing geotechnical/environmental databases and digital field systems.
• Strong understanding of subsurface investigations and environmental monitoring workflows.
• Proven record leading complex, regional or national projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a national data strategy for geotechnical and contaminated land data.
• Lead enterprise-scale databases and digital workflows across projects.
• Drive AI-enabled data interrogation and automated reporting.
• Establish data governance frameworks and national data standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary data teams and provide client advisory on data management.
