Responsibilities

• Oversee national construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard.
• Provide leadership, guidance and support to regional construction managers, project managers, supervisors and wider construction teams.
• Manage the successful delivery of complex commercial insurance reinstatement projects, including major and large loss claims.
• Develop and implement consistent construction processes, operational procedures and performance standards across all states.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, subcontractors and other key stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance, financial outcomes, resource allocation and operational risks while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Working closely with insurers, brokers and loss adjusters, they deliver construction solutions across a diverse range of commercial and industrial properties.

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in construction management, ideally within insurance building, commercial construction or major loss reinstatement
• Proven experience leading construction operations across multiple regions or states, with the ability to manage geographically dispersed teams
• Strong technical understanding of commercial building, complex reinstatement works, construction methodologies and project delivery
• Demonstrated ability to manage large construction budgets, project profitability, operational performance and commercial risk
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to develop teams and build relationships with senior stakeholders
• Strong understanding of Australian building regulations, construction compliance, workplace health and safety requirements and industry standards
