Job summary

Linfox is seeking a National Compliance & Network Access Manager in Melbourne to lead road transport compliance across the intermodal network. You will work with site leaders to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, proactive solutions that improve safety and efficiency.

You will be the subject matter expert on CoR, HVNL, NHVR requirements, manage heavy vehicle permits and HPV approvals, and drive continuous improvement through audits, risk assessments and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ industry experience in transport compliance or a similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and NHVR requirements.
• Demonstrated knowledge of heavy vehicle permits, road network access and HPV/PBS requirements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability across sites and leadership.
• Experience supporting audits and using trends/data to identify risks and drive improvements.
• Practical, solutions-focused approach with clear communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate legislative and regulatory requirements into practical compliance solutions across the national Intermodal network.
• Be the subject matter expert on CoR, HVNL, NHVR requirements, mass and maintenance management.
• Lead end-to-end management of Heavy Vehicle Permits and HPV approvals, including route access and permit registers.
• Oversee audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained.
• Analyse audit outcomes, NCRs and non-conformances to identify trends and drive continuous improvement across the network.
• Stay ahead of regulatory changes and embed new requirements into operational practices.
• Take ownership of HPV/permit requirements to ensure safe and efficient fleet operations.
