Job summary

Wellways Australia Limited seeks an experienced Accreditation and Compliance Lead to oversee accreditation readiness, compliance monitoring and internal audit across the organisation. You will translate complex regulatory requirements into practical improvements, partnering with leaders to address risks and drive quality across mental health, disability and community services.

The role requires cross‑functional collaboration, strong analytical reporting, and willingness to travel to Wellways

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in quality, audit, risk, compliance, health, human services or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience coordinating accreditation, certification, compliance and/or internal audit activities within health, mental health, disability, aged care, AOD or community services
• Experience interpreting and applying relevant standards and legislative, regulatory and contractual requirements
• Demonstrated experience undertaking audits, self‑assessments, gap analyses, corrective actions or quality improvement activities
• Strong analytical, written communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to develop clear reports, briefings and recommendations
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence senior stakeholders to achieve organisation‑wide outcomes
• Willingness and ability to travel to Wellways locations as required
• Satisfactory completion and maintenance of relevant employment screening requirements including National Police Check, Working with Children Check, Child Safety and Personal History Screening Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Right to work in Australia

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate accreditation, compliance and internal audit activities across Wellways to maintain safe, high‑quality services
• Strengthen accreditation readiness and monitor compliance across service delivery and corporate functions
• Provide specialist advice, interpret standards and translate requirements into practical organisational improvements
• Identify risks and gaps, coordinate corrective actions and report themes and risks to governance
• Collaborate with leaders and teams to deliver organisation‑wide compliance outcomes
• Travel to Wellways locations as required to support audits and accreditation schedules
