Job summary

Primo Foods is seeking a National Account Manager to lead our Independent Retail portfolio from our Chullora base. You will drive growth across Metcash deli, meat and ambient grocery categories, coordinate with NSW MSO groups and state teams, and deliver commercial performance and channel strategy.

Key responsibilities include managing the portfolio, building strong customer relationships, delivering promotional programs, forecasting, and providing insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in National Account Management within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
• Experience with Metcash or Independent Retail customers, with fresh or deli exposure is highly regarded.
• Strong stakeholder management across customers and internal teams.
• Proven forecasting, trade spend, financial analysis and commercial management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Primo's portfolio across National Metcash Deli, Meat and Ambient Grocery.
• Build and maintain relationships with National Metcash Trading Managers, Buying Assistants and State Fresh Buying Teams.
• Develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support commercial objectives.
• Provide regular communication with State Operations Managers on key deliverables, activations and events.
• Develop, implement and review promotional programs and investment opportunities across Metcash and NSW MSO customers.
• Coordinate and deliver category review processes in line with timelines and strategy.
• Develop and execute Joint Business Plans to drive sales growth and channel strategy.
• Optimize pricing, terms and ROI across the customer portfolio.
• Contribute to forecasting activities to support supply planning and financial performance.
• Manage trade spend, promotional setup, claims processes and provide performance insights to senior management.
