Overview

Location: Glebe, Sydney. Job type: Nanny, 30+ hours per week. Days/hours: Wednesday 8am–6pm; Thursday and Friday 8am–5pm. Start late January 2026 with a planned finish in July 2026 (date to be confirmed).

Responsibilities

• Caring for a baby girl (6 months) after Mum returns to work, including taking her out to local parks and age-appropriate activities and preparing some meals.
• Assisting with the elder child (4 years) as needed, including getting the child to and from kindergarten/school on some Wednesdays within walking distance, and caring for both children until the end of the day.
• Helping with family dinner routine (getting dinner on the table) and light household duties such as loading the dishwasher and hanging out washing.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for babies is essential.
• Comfortable around dogs (two spoodles, friendly but exuberant).
• Driver’s licence isn’t essential; parking is limited, but the area is accessible by public transport.

Details

• Wages: $45 per hour.
• Live-out role; no live-in accommodation.
• Start date: 28 January 2026; Finish date: July 2026 (TBC).
