Find A Babysitter in Sydney, NSW seeks a warm, reliable nanny to care for two girls, ages 3 and 1. The role includes morning meals, getting the older child to childcare on Tue–Thu, and light housework related to the children.

Responsibilities cover meals, snacks, play, and outings with a focus on creative activities and a no-screen-time policy. First Aid/CPR and WWCC preferred; candidates should be patient, energetic and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Look after two girls on weekdays as specified (ages 3 and 1).

• Get the older daughter ready for childcare Tue-Thu.
• Assist with light child-related household tasks (laundry, dishes, tidying).
• Take the children to parks and age-appropriate activities.
• Maintain a no-screen-time policy for the children.
• Support daily routines, naps and engagement through creative play.

Job description

We’re looking for a lovely, reliable nanny to look after our two girls.

Schedule

• Monday: Looking after both girls (our older daughter is 3 and our younger daughter is 1)
• Tuesdays–Thursdays: Looking after our 1-year-old only
• Preparing and/or serving breakfast if the girls wake up late
• Getting our older daughter ready for childcare on Tuesday to Thursday
• Preparing snacks and warming up lunch
• Preparing vegetables/sides for lunch and dinner
• Preparing dinner for the girls (such as marinating meat, fish and making pasta)
• Changing nappies and helping with meals and snacks
• Taking our little one to the park and other age-appropriate activities
• Creative play, sensory activities, reading books and keeping her engaged
• Following her daily routine and helping her get ready for nap time
• Keeping the children’s play areas and bedrooms tidy
• Light household tasks related to the children, such as:
  • Emptying/loading the dishwasher
  • Putting on and hanging out laundry
  • Folding children’s laundry
  • Tidying the kitchen after preparing meals
  • Tidying/vacuuming the kids’ areas and playroom

No-screen-time household: We don’t have screen time for the kids, and we’d like our nanny to be happy to follow this as well.

A little about us

We’re a warm, friendly family and we both mostly work from home. We have a very sweet and lively Border Collie who lives indoors. He can occasionally get a little jealous when the girls are getting all the attention and may bring you his ball asking you to play with him!
