Job summary

Find A Babysitter is seeking a long-term, part-time nanny for a kind, organised, firm and responsible caregiver to look after a sweet 5-year-old boy. The role runs every Friday morning with a 7am start and a 10am finish, with the option to extend a few hours for light housekeeping.

There is potential for ad hoc evening babysitting when our other sitter is away. You can use your own car or ours, with a booster seat provided.

Qualifications

• Childcare experience or a clear love of working with children.
• Reliable and patient with a 5-year-old.
• Safety-conscious and able to engage a young child.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for a 5-year-old boy with emphasis on health and happiness.
• Accompany child to school; 7am start, 10am finish.
• Optional light housekeeping tasks if interested.
• Occasional adhoc babysitting in the evenings when needed.

Job description

Long-term, part-time nanny who is kind, organised, firm and responsible to look after my darling, sweet, social 5-year-old boy (I know all Mums think that about their children, but he really is). Every Friday Morning.

• 7am start, drop to school 10am finish. Option to extend a couple of hours if you would be interested in doing some light housekeeping chores.
• Bonus if you could be available for some adhoc babysitting in the evening/ cover additional shifts while our other babysitter is on holiday.

You would have the option to use your own car (I would provide a booster seat) or use my car. There are lots of shops / cafes / supermarket in easy walk, and we are close to bus, tram and train lines, but at the moment the school is a half-hour drive away.

Keeping a tidy and organised home is a appreciated, but we have weekly cleaners as well, so don't expect cleaning (!). By far the most important thing is keeping my boy healthy, engaged and happy.

Start period really anytime from now.
