Job summary

Activate Body Noosa is seeking a part-time or contractor REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST to provide high-quality Myotherapy or remedial massage services to an established client base in Noosaville, QLD. You will assess and treat musculoskeletal conditions, support recovery, and develop practical self-management plans.

Flexible days and school-holiday periods are valued. Joining a collaborative allied-health team, you will maintain records, communicate with physiotherapists and strength coaches, and

Qualifications

• Qualified Myotherapist or Remedial Massage therapist.
• Current professional association membership.
• Eligibility for private health-fund provider numbers.
• Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance, First Aid & CPR.
• Strong hands-on clinical skills.
• Professional and timely clinical documentation.
• Excellent communication and client-care skills.
• Reliable and consistent availability.
• Collaborative approach in an allied-health team.
• Experience with active adults, sporting clients or rehabilitation is advantageous.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will provide high-quality Myotherapy or remedial massage services to an established and growing client base.

• Assessment and hands-on treatment of musculoskeletal conditions
• Sports, recovery and remedial massage
• Myofascial, trigger-point and soft-tissue techniques
• Supporting clients experiencing persistent pain, stiffness or reduced mobility
• Developing practical treatment and self-management plans
• Communicating with physiotherapists and strength coaches when appropriate
• Maintaining clear and timely clinical records
• Contributing to a consistent and professional client experience
• Availability during school holidays and other high-demand periods would be highly valued.

ABOUT YOU

You will ideally have:

• A recognised Myotherapy or Remedial Massage qualification
• Current professional association membership
• Eligibility for relevant private health-fund provider numbers
• Current professional indemnity and public liability insuranceA current First Aid and CPR certificate
• Strong hands-on clinical skills
• Professional and timely clinical documentation
• Excellent communication and client-care skills
• Reliable and consistent availability
• A collaborative approach to working within an allied-health team
• Experience with active adults, sporting clients, persistent pain or rehabilitation would be advantageous.
