Job summary

Gloucestershire Music (GM) is seeking skilled instrumental and vocal tutors to join the contracted team. The role covers planning and delivering Whole Class Ensemble Teaching and paired or individual lessons in schools across the county, with a focus on inspiring young people to enjoy music.

The post is permanent, part-time (30 weeks/yr), with pay spread over 12 months. Pay is pro rata for timetabled hours; travel costs can be claimed.

Qualifications

• Experience tutoring instrumental and vocal students.
• Ability to plan and deliver Whole Class Ensemble Teaching.
• Willingness to travel between schools and possess a driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality music lessons in schools across the county.
• Plan and deliver Whole Class Ensemble Teaching and paired or individual lessons.
• Maintain records and support pupil development and progression.
