Job summary

Juniper Aged Care is seeking caring and reliable Multiskilled Domestic Team Members for Hillcrest in Geraldton, WA. The role rotates between cleaning, laundry and catering to create a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

You’ll work closely with care and hospitality teams to uphold high cleanliness standards and resident wellbeing. Applicants should have experience in cleaning, catering, and laundry, with a focus on infection control.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, catering, & laundry services (aged care or healthcare preferred).
• Knowledge of hygiene standards, food safety, and infection control (desirable).
• Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain (preferred).
• Physically fit to meet the demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents' rooms and common areas, vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising high-touch surfaces.
• Wash, dry, iron and return personal and facility laundry following infection control procedures.
• Assist in preparing and serving meals, setting tables and ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Work collaboratively with care and hospitality staff to ensure residents feel respected and at home.
• Follow workplace health, safety and infection control guidelines at all times.

About The Role

Juniper is seeking caring and reliable Multiskilled Domestic Team Members to join our dedicated team at Hillcrest, our warm and welcoming residential aged care home in Geraldton. This hands on, people focused role rotates between cleaning, laundry, and catering duties to help create a safe, comfortable, and homely environment for our residents. Working closely with our care and hospitality teams, you will ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, assist with meal preparation and service, and contribute to residents’ overall comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning: Keep residents’ rooms and common areas spotless, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces.

Key Requirements

• Experience in cleaning, catering, & laundry services (aged care or healthcare preferred)

• Passionate about helping older people live with dignity and comfort
• Physically fit to meet the demands of the role
• Flexible to work across cleaning, laundry, and catering duties
• A great communicator who can build rapport with residents and colleagues
