Job summary

Juniper in Katanning, WA is seeking a Multiskilled Carer to join our Residential Care teams. You will provide personal care, assist with hygiene, mobility, and meals, and support residents’ independence with dignity and choice.

You will help with medication administration, maintain accurate records, uphold infection prevention and safety practices, and collaborate with nursing and allied health staff. This role requires flexibility to work across sites and shifts, contributing to high-quality,

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care.
• Experience working in an aged care setting as a carer.
• Ability to relate to elderly customers with empathy and collaborate with health professionals, service providers, and case managers.
• Ability to interpret individual care plans and provide tailored care to meet individual goals.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Understanding of cognitive strategies, social interaction, and meeting the mental and emotional health needs of residents.
• Ability to meet all compliance requirements including a National Police Clearance, NDIS Worker Screening, and adherence to the Aged Care Code of Conduct.
• Hourly rate from $36.51 to $37.91 depending on qualifications, plus superannuation.
• Salary packaging options up to $18,550 per annum.
