Juniper, a major aged care provider in Western Australia, seeks a Multiskilled Carer for our Katanning site. You will support residents with daily living, social and emotional needs, delivering person-centred care that upholds dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care.
• Experience working in an aged care setting as a carer.
• Ability to relate to elderly customers with empathy and collaborate with health professionals.
• Ability to interpret individual care plans and provide tailored care.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Understanding of cognitive strategies and emotional health needs of residents.
• Compliance requirements including National Police Clearance, NDIS Worker Screening, and Aged Care Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including assistance with hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Support residents’ independence and participation in meaningful daily activities, promoting dignity and choice.
• Assist with safe administration of medication in accordance with policies.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate with nursing and management staff.
• Contribute to infection prevention and workplace health and safety practices.
• Assist with mealtime support to ensure nutritional needs are met.

About the role

We are seeking a Multiskilled Carer to join our Residential Care teams for our site in Katanning, WA.

As a Multiskilled Carer, you will support residents with their daily living, social, and emotional needs, delivering person-centred care that promotes dignity, respect, and independence. You will play an important role in enhancing residents’ well-being and quality of life, ensuring they feel welcome, valued, and supported.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including assistance with hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility
• Support residents’ independence and participation in meaningful daily activities, promoting dignity and choice
• Assist with the safe administration of medication in accordance with Juniper policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively with nursing, allied health, and management personnel

• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Understanding of cognitive strategies, social interaction, and meeting the mental and emotional health needs of residents
• Ability to meet all compliance requirements including a National Police Clearance, NDIS Worker Screening, and adherence to the Aged Care Code of Conduct
