Job summary

Citywide Plumbing & Drainage P/L is seeking a full-time Construction Labourer to join our building maintenance team. The role covers general labouring across commercial buildings in Melbourne and the south-eastern surrounds.

You will assist tradespeople, prepare sites, move materials, perform basic carpentry, and comply with safety training. A current manual driver's licence is required, and on-going training is provided (EWP, first aid, forklift).

Qualifications

• Current manual driver's licence is required.
• Experience in construction, maintenance or a trade-assisting role is preferred.
• Able to use hand and power tools safely.
• Able to use specialised equipment after training.
• Punctual and reliable; work well in teams or alone.

Responsibilities

• General repairs and maintenance across commercial buildings.
• Assisting tradespeople on site (plumbers, carpenters, electricians).
• Site preparation, clean up and rubbish removal.
• Basic carpentry, patching and painting.
• Moving and handling materials and equipment.
• Working at heights and in confined spaces (training provided).
• General labouring duties across multiple sites.
