Job summary

Mulltiple Developers in Canberra is seeking multiple developers skilled in React and TypeScript to build public-facing web components and APIs within an Agile delivery team.

This 12-month hybrid contract requires NV1 security clearance and offers collaboration with product owners, emphasis on automated testing, RESTful APIs, and modern tooling using Node.js/Express and Jest.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript and ES6.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Node.js/Express.
• Experience with SPA development and responsive UX.
• Familiarity with Agile, Kanban or Scrum.

Responsibilities

Develop public-facing web components and APIs using React, TypeScript, Node.js and modern web development practices within an Agile multi-disciplinary delivery team.

Essential Tasks

• Design, build, integrate and document web components and software capability that meets business requirements.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs supporting data access and business logic.
• Work with business and product owners to refine requirements using Agile development methods.
• Implement automated testing, troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement of existing systems.

Key Criteria

• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript/ES6, modern build tools and unit testing frameworks such as Jest.
• Experience developing Single-Page Applications, including state management, routing, responsive design and UX implementation.
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express, including secure authentication and data handling.
• Experience delivering work within Agile, Kanban and Scrum environments and producing detailed design documentation.
