Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain cameras, microphones, computers and editing software in working order.
• Manage inventory of media and technology resources for the school.
• Capture photographs during school events and archive image libraries for future use.
• Produce and edit videos for school events (sports, graduation, promos).
• Train teachers in using new educational software, interactive whiteboards and video tools.
• Troubleshoot hardware or software issues in classrooms and media labs.

We are looking for a Multimedia Specialist to join our Team in Gympie, QLD.

Key duties include

• Assist students: Support students on class projects that focus on digital storytelling, audio recording, or graphic design.
• Builds e-learning tools: Design and develop interactive online courses or digital learning modules for the school curriculum.
• Design graphics: Design digital flyers, newsletters, social media content, and website banners that are consistent with the school's brand image.
• Maintain equipment: Ensure that cameras, microphones, computers, and editing software are maintained, updated, and in working order.
• Manage inventory: Oversee and keep track of the school's media and technology inventory.
• Manage photography: Capture photographs during school events and systematically archives image libraries for subsequent use.
• Produce videos: Produce and edit videos for school events, including sports games, graduation ceremonies, and promotional videos.
• Train staff: Train teachers in effectively using new educational software, interactive whiteboards, and video tools.
• Troubleshoot systems: Troubleshoot and fix everyday hardware or software problems in classrooms and media labs.

To be considered you will need a level of skill commensurate with a relevant Bachelor Degree or Higher and at least 1 year of relevant employment experience; OR; at least 5 years of relevant employment experience may substitute for the formal qualification.

This is a full time position, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $90,000 - $100,000 per annum is on offer to the successful candidate.
