Job summary

Nine is looking for a Multimedia Journalist to join the 9News Adelaide team in the Adelaide CBD. You will specialise in state politics, delivering exclusive stories across TV, digital and social platforms.

Reporting to the News Director, you will build networks of political contacts, produce high-quality reports, and deliver compelling live crosses from the field and studio. A journalism degree and fast-paced newsroom experience are required.

Qualifications

• A degree in Journalism or equivalent practical industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience reporting within a fast-paced television newsroom.
• A proven track record in reporting and cultivating high-level contacts to deliver exclusive stories.
• Exceptional broadcast presentation skills with the ability to think critically during live breaking news.
• Proficiency in digital publishing and social media storytelling alongside television production.
• Sound knowledge of South Australia’s parliament, media law, legal compliance and journalistic ethics.
• Video editing skills are considered an advantage.
