Job summary

Carrington Blake Recruitment is seeking an experienced Carpenter/Joiner to carry out repairs across occupied and unoccupied properties. You will repair and maintain timber doors, frames, sash windows and uPVC windows and doors, and take precise measurements for replacements.

The role requires strong practical skills, safe working practices and the ability to complete joinery orders and paperwork, with multi-trade tiling or plumbing tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in carpentry and joinery.
• Experience repairing timber doors, frames, sash windows and uPVC windows and doors.
• Strong measuring and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prepare accurate joinery specifications and orders.
• Experience undertaking minor multi-trade repairs is desirable.
• A full, valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and replace timber doors, door frames, sash windows and uPVC windows and doors.
• Carry out a wide range of carpentry and joinery repairs.
• Accurately measure windows, doors, box frames and other joinery items to ensure replacements are manufactured to the correct specifications.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Carpenter / Joiner to carry out a range of carpentry, joinery, window and door repairs across occupied and unoccupied properties. The successful candidate will have strong practical skills, particularly in repairing and maintaining timber doors, frames, sash windows and uPVC windows and doors. You will also undertake accurate measurements, submit joinery orders for replacement items and complete minor multi-trade repairs to ensure all work is delivered to a high professional standard.
