Job summary

Workfast is seeking experienced multi-skilled plant operators for ongoing civil and infrastructure projects across the Darling Downs region. We have multiple vacancies for operators experienced on graders, dozers, loaders, compactors, skid steers, excavators, and watercarts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in civil earthworks or mining.
• Experience operating one or more of the following: graders, dozers, loaders, compactors, skid steers, excavators, and watercarts.
• Relevant RII competencies.
• Strong safety focus and commitment to teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of plant machinery safely and efficiently
• Conduct civil works including cut/fill, trimming, compaction, haulage, and general earthmoving
• Maintain haul roads and work areas to safe operating standards
• Complete pre-start checks, report defects, and ensure machinery is well maintained
• Follow all site safety, environmental, and operational procedures
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
