Job summary

Tomingley Gold Operations is seeking an experienced Multi Equipment Operator (MEO) for our Open Cut mining team at the Tomingley site in NSW. The role covers operating a range of mobile plant and contributing to rehabilitation, civil works and site infrastructure.

Beneficial prerequisites include MR licence, Senior First Aid and a proven track record in open cut mining. This is a permanent full-time, on-site position with a residential mine setup, offering stability, a competitive remuneration

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience operating surface mobile equipment (excavators, dozers, graders, water carts, trucks).
• Current driver's license; MR licence highly regarded.
• Senior First Aid certification.
• Ability to complete pre-start inspections and required documentation.
• Sound WHS knowledge and risk management.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication and practical problem solving; adaptable to priorities.
• Experience in open cut mining, civil works or related fields is valued.

Multi Equipment Operator (MEO) - Open Cut

Tomingley Gold Operations is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Multi Equipment Operator (MEO) to join our Open Cut Mining team.

The Role:

This is a hands-on role operating a range of mobile plant to support open cut mining, ore and waste handling, civil works, earthworks and site services activities. You will work across various operational areas, contributing to safe and efficient mining operations while helping maintain and develop site infrastructure.

Your duties will include rehabilitation work, road and drainage maintenance, stockpile profiling, tip head and waste management, infrastructure development and surface water management.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Operate mobile plant, including dozers, excavators, graders, water carts and dump trucks, in accordance with your training, competency and authorisation.
• Complete civil works, earthworks, rehabilitation and site infrastructure projects.
• Maintain haul roads, drainage systems, stockpiles, waste dumps and operational areas.
• Achieve agreed work priorities and productivity targets while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and environmental compliance.

What we require from you:

• Demonstrated experience and competency in operating relevant surface mobile equipment (Excavators, Dozers, Graders, Water Carts and Trucks).
• A current driver's licence, with an MR licence highly regarded.
• Senior First Aid certified.
• Ability to complete pre-start inspections and required operational documentation.
• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements, risk management and safe operating practices.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication and practical problem-solving skills, with the flexibility to adapt to changing operational priorities.
• Previous experience in open cut mining, civil construction, road maintenance, drainage works, stockpile management or ore and waste handling will be highly regarded.
