Job summary

B&Q Plymouth is hiring a Store Delivery Driver. This full-time role involves operating a 3.5-tonne van, delivering items from paint to flooring to customers’ homes, and supporting in-store duties with new technology. Shifts cover Monday to Sunday, 7.00am–10.00pm, with heavy lifting required and a UK manual driving licence.

You’ll join a team focused on delivering excellent service, safety, and on-time deliveries while representing the B&Q brand on every visit.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and planning skills.
• Manual UK driving licence (Category B/B1) held for at least a year with no more than 6 points.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries in 3.5 tonne vans to customers' homes, including heavy lifting.
• Handle orders on shopfloor using in-store technology to fulfil customer requests.
• Represent the B&Q brand by delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring on-time, safe deliveries.
