Job summary

The Opportunity Hub UK Ltd is seeking a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join a busy home delivery team. You will work alongside a driver’s mate to deliver furniture and appliances to customers, providing a friendly and professional service.

Responsibilities include driving safely, loading/unloading with the mate, completing delivery paperwork and keeping customers informed of delivery status.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence with Category C1 entitlement.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous commercial driving experience.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to carry out a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting and safe handling methods.

Responsibilities

7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver – Two-Person Home Delivery

We are recruiting 7.5 Tonne Drivers to join a busy home delivery team. Working alongside a driver’s mate, you will deliver furniture, appliances and other household goods to customers, providing a friendly and professional service.

Safely drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle on planned delivery routes.

Complete deliveries to customers’ homes, including carrying goods into the required room.

Work with your driver’s mate to load, unload and handle goods safely.

Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.

Complete delivery paperwork and electronic proof of delivery.

Keep customers informed and report any delivery issues to the transport team.

Follow road safety, manual handling and company procedures.

Requirements:

A valid UK driving licence with Category C1 entitlement.

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

Previous commercial driving experience.

Good customer service and communication skills.

Ability to carry out a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting, using appropriate equipment and safe handling methods.
