Job summary

Inland Distributors in Tamworth is seeking a driver for a Permanent Full Time role to perform multi‑drop hand-unloaded deliveries to a set customer base in Tamworth and surrounds. You will collect payments and reconcile at end of day, sign delivery paperwork, and maintain the vehicle with regular washing and servicing.

Onsite training and an attractive salary package are provided. The ideal candidate holds an MR Licence, is physically fit, reliable, and customer-focused, with good communication

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
• Physically able to load and unload trucks and perform deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Multi‑drop hand unloaded deliveries to a set customer base in Tamworth and surrounds.
• Ensuring all delivery paperwork is signed by customers.
• Collection of payment from customers and reconciling at the end of the day.
• Maintaining truck services and general maintenance.
• Washing vehicle weekly.

Inland Distributors is a Confectionery, Snack Food and Beverage wholesaler servicing a large area of regional NSW. Inland Distributors is a family owned business that has been operating for over 40 years. The business is currently seeking a new Driver to join the team based in Tamworth.

The type of person suited to this role will be:

• Reliability is a must
• Physically fit and healthy, with the ability to load and unload trucks
• Highly organised and good communication skills
• Self-motivated and passionate about their own performance
• Able to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Must have a MR Licence
• Forklift licenses would also be preferred
