Job summary

Copperfield College is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead strategic and operational management of facilities, grounds, maintenance, and projects across its three campuses in Melbourne’s north-west.

Working with the Principal Team and stakeholders, you will ensure safe, functional environments, compliant with Department of Education policies and college priorities. The role requires proactive leadership, strong organisation, and coordinating resources across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Facilities Manager role requires leadership in planning and coordinating facilities, maintenance, and projects across multiple campuses.
• Experience with OHS compliance, risk management and governance in a school or similar environment.
• Strong collaboration with leadership, staff, contractors and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines and resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead effective management, maintenance and continuous improvement of College buildings, grounds and facilities across all three campuses.
• Develop and monitor maintenance programs, priorities and response to emerging issues.
• Coordinate workforce across campuses, balancing priorities and campus needs.
• Monitor contracted services, ensuring service standards and safety requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate records and online systems for facilities, assets and maintenance.
• Identify opportunities to improve facilities, infrastructure and sustainability.
