Job summary

STM Trucks & Machinery Pty Ltd in Smeaton Grange, NSW, is seeking a Heavy Vehicle Technician / Diesel Mechanic to service, repair and diagnose trucks across Iveco, Fuso, Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and other major brands. You’ll join a family-owned business with four locations and a focus on quality workmanship.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will work in a busy workshop environment with OEM training, overtime on offer, and pathways for ongoing technical development and career

Qualifications

Current NSW driver's licence.
Own tools (specialised tooling provided).
Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions.
Willingness to work overtime, Saturdays and offsite as required.
Completion of OEM technical training programs.
Experience across multiple truck brands.

Responsibilities

Servicing and repairing light, medium and heavy vehicles across multiple truck brands.
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults efficiently.
Completing job service reports and paperwork accurately.
Working in workshop and offsite when required.
Following OEM procedures and completing OEM training.
Maintaining safe, clean workshop and meeting timelines.
