Job summary

Daimler Trucks Geelong in Corio, VIC is seeking an experienced Technician to join our Service Department and help service, diagnose and repair a wide range of Daimler trucks and off-brand commercial vehicles.

You will work with Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso brands, with hands-on leadership and OEM training pathways to build a long-term career in a stable dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Light Vehicle or Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
• Experience within automotive or dealership environment preferred.
• Willingness to upskill into Heavy Vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and repair a variety of Daimler and off-brand commercial vehicles.
• Complete a diverse range of work, including servicing, repairs and warranty work.
• Follow detailed factory procedures to ensure accuracy, quality and compliance.
• Utilise specialist tools and modern diagnostic equipment.
• Offer expert advice and support in diagnostics and repairs.
• Partner with customers, Service Advisors and fellow Technicians during express assessments.
