Job summary

Marathon Health Australia in Dubbo, NSW, is seeking a Therapist to join the Multisystemic Therapy for Child Abuse and Neglect (MST-CAN) program on a fixed-term basis through September 2027.

The role involves delivering intensive, home-based family preservation services aimed at keeping children aged 0–17 safely at home, with a multidisciplinary team and trauma-informed practice. You’ll engage with diverse families, manage safety risks, and participate in rotating after-hours on-call rosters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related discipline.
• Experience in risk assessment and safety management.
• Ability to engage diverse families with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intensive MST-CAN services in home-based settings.
• Maintain detailed case records using clinical software.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and participate in after-hours on-call roster.
